ANCHORAGE, Alaska — [September 21, 2026] — Aleut Energy is rebranding its renewable energy subsidiary, previously marketed as Renewable Energy Systems and Renewable Energy Systems of Alaska, under a new customer-facing name: Renewable Solutions (RES).
The rebrand creates a consistent identity for RES across its operations and reflects the company’s broader range of renewable energy solutions, including solar, battery storage, generators, geothermal, wind, and related services.
This change does not affect RES ownership, operations, employees, products, services, or existing customer relationships. RES remains a subsidiary of Aleut Energy and continues to serve customers from its locations in Fairbanks, Mat-Su, and Anchorage.
Updates to the RES website, marketing materials, business listings, and physical locations are underway. New permanent signage displaying the Renewable Solutions name and RES brand will be installed as part of a phased rollout. During the transition, some existing signage, documents, directories, and third-party listings may continue to display Renewable Energy Systems or Renewable Energy Systems of Alaska.
