Born January 31, 1945, to the late Sophia (Zacharof) Stepetin and raised by Eoff and Katherine Philemonof in St. George Island. Nick attended Haskell and worked his lifetime as a master carpenter. He is survived by his sister Sarah S. Merculief of St. George, sons Alan, Nick, Walter and Wendell Philemonof and daughters Wynema and Wynette Philemonof and many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother Sophia Stepetin, his loving wife Wanda, brother Michael Zacharof and four grandchildren, Dakota, Audree, Ethan, and Kendrick.
Nicky was loved by many friends and family throughout the Pribilofs and his home in Acoma.
