The Board of Directors and the staff of The Aleut Corporation would like to extend their sincere condolences to the family and friends of the following shareholders and their descendents who have recently passed away.

Capt. George Gronholdt, 86, died May 9, 2007, in Seattle, WA. He was born September 7,1920, in Sand Point, AK. His wife Mildred M. Gronholdt preceded George in death. George was the youngest of eight born to Niels and Anna Gronholdt.

George will be remembered for his work in the maritime industry, his forever positive and cheerful attitude towards his family and friends, and his love for animals and wildlife. He will be deeply missed by all those who came to know his kind and gentle personality. Remembrances may be sent to the King County Humane Society. TAC extends their apologies to Dennis Gronholdt and the family and friends of the late George Gronholdt for not printing this sooner.
