The
Aleut Foundation would
like to welcome Jessica Borenin to the Board of Directors.
Jessica was born in Anchorage to John and Zenia Borenin.
She spent most of her life in Akutan,
Alaska. She attended Akutan School, until graduation
in 2001.
After
graduation, she moved to Anchorage and attended UAA
for one year.
While she was a student at UAA, Jessica
applied as an intern at The Aleut Corporation. After
her internship ended, she began working for the Aleutian
Pribilof Islands Association. Jessica has been in the
Human Services Department at APIA for 5 years and was
recently promoted to the Administration Department
as its Administrative Assistant. Jessica believes in
the education and cultural preservation of the Aleut
people, and she looks forward to working with The Aleut
Foundation and the Aleut Corporation shareholders and
descendants.
