WE ARE UNANGAXˆ

Aleut’s mission is to maximize dividends and opportunities for our shareholders.

Incorporated on June 21, 1972, as one of 12 Alaska Native regional corporations established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, Aleut proudly represents over 4,000 Alaska Native shareholders primarily of Unangax̂ (Aleut) descent from the Aleutian and Pribilof Islands of Alaska.

Today, Aleut has grown into one of Alaska’s leading Native-owned and operated businesses, employing nearly 1,000 people worldwide. With a diverse holding of companies and subsidiaries in Alaska and the Lower 48, Aleut provides professional services in several key areas including: government contracting, O&M, training and education, logistics, construction, IT and telecom, environmental, remediation, engineering, prototype and manufacturing, real estate, and fuel and port services.

Our Story

Designed by John Larsen in 1990, Aleut’s original logo featured three iconic symbols of Unangax̂ culture: the bentwood visor, the mountain, and the arrowhead.

While we embrace a future-focused momentum, we remain steadfast in honoring our rich heritage through these elements that resonate with our community.
